No fee is charged for drop in help during store hours for beginner knitting or crochet. However, I might have to take the time to help other customers while you're learning to knit or crochet. I'm in the store Monday 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.; Tuesday and Wednesday noon - 5:00 p.m.; Thursday - Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and (If you need a private lesson for the above beginner classes, the charge is $20.00 an hour. We can set up a time morning or evening to accommodate your schedule.) I can hopefully help you sort out any puzzles you might have regards to knitting and crochet.
Materials: I suggest you choose a worsted weight yarn in a bright color and a pair of size #7,#8,#9, or #10 Knitting needles. For Beginner Crochet, a crochet hook size H and the same yarn as for beginner knitting. A finishing needle is also suggested for sewing in your yarn ends. As you progress in your knitting or crochet you will want to buy other supplies for your future projects. Join the world of inspiration and beauty stitch by stitch.
